"you met me at a very strange time in my life"

Couldn't get the right colour of my face, tried for ages.
I watched it again the other night, fantastic film, and already
10 years old this year!

Waka waka waka waka

Saw some 80's retro games advertised on the TV, so I knocked this up quite quickly.

All clear!

Still with a cold (or man flu!) I saw this new blind in the house, so I thought I'd play around with it! I did want the light to be kind of strips on my face, but there wasn't enough room in the spare room. Going to look for a lighting tutorial on that and give it a go.

(Made my day!)

Looks like I don't need a blind at all!
Although I don't think it looks as good as the real thing!

Nonsense!

I had a cold today (sniff) I couldn't be asked going out, so I mucked around with my camera. I saw an advert about air fresheners so it got me thinking about all the senses. Not great photos of myself, but the idea was interesting. I want to try the seasons and the elements one day.

Snap, Crackle and Pop

I was watching my 2 year old nephew having his breakfast, and noticed how colourful and messy it was, but he was having fun. So I thought I'd try and capture both. A lot harder than it looks, pouring both while trying to look at the camera.
I really wanted it to look colourful, so I pushed all the colour up.

Early Halloween

I know it's early but I've been looking for Halloween projects already. (And also watching the fab 'True blood') So I was looking for a Vampire bite tutorial but couldn't find one! But there's a lot of photoshop 'bite' brushes out there so I decided to try it for myself. I'm not sure if the veins work though!

Man in the mirror

Been practising using a mirror for a shoot I've got with a model in a few weeks. Apart from the difficult lighting set up, I noticed that the mirror has to be spotless, because any marks show up terribly when I upload them on my computer! Still, it's an interesting challenge and I am definitely going to practise more before the shoot.
